Production Information:
A blistering character study and an examination of the American melting pot and the judicial system that keeps it in check, Twelve Angry Jurors holds at its core a deeply patriotic belief in the U.S. legal system. The story’s focal point, known only as Juror Eight, is at first the sole holdout in an 11-1 guilty vote. Eight sets his sights not on proving the other jurors wrong but rather on getting them to look at the situation in a clear-eyed way not affected by their personal biases. Rose deliberately and carefully peels away the layers of artifice from the jurors and allows a fuller picture of America, at its best and worst, to form.
The following roles will be cast:
14 Male and Female. All roles are open.
For Auditions:
Please prepare a 1 ½ to 2 minute monologue from any American realist author: Arthur Miller, Tennessee Williams, William Inge, Eugene O'Niel, Edward Albee, Sam Shepard, etc.

THE LIAR by Pierre Corneille is a sprightly seventeenth century comedy in verse brilliantly translated by Ranjit Bolt. If you want to look at the script, you can borrow a copy from Mary, the secretary of the Department of Theatre and Dance.
Three major roles have already been cast as senior projects: Dorante, Lucrece and Clarice.
The following roles will be cast:
ONE WOMAN’S ROLE, Sabine, a lively soubrette.
SIX MEN’S ROLES, Geronte, Argante, Alcippe, Philiste, Cliton and Lycas.
- The first two are father roles, the second two young men about town, the last two valets, Cliton is mature and Lycas younger.
For Auditions:
Please prepare a 1 ½ minute monologue from a comedy in verse. A good choice would be from any Moliere play in the translation by Richard Wilbur.
