James Taylor received his M.F.A. from Southern Methodist University. The department set and lighting designer, he teaches set design, lighting design, visual arts of the theatre, and theatre crafts. Jim's professional credits as a designer and/or technical director include Summer Repertory Theatre, Occidental Theatre Festival, The Kentucky Shakespeare Festival, Lorretta Livingston and Dancers, and A Noise Within. In 1997-98, he was a Fulbright Lecturer in the Phillipines. Jim is also a lighting design member of the United Scenic Artists.
